オーストラリアに住んでいた時に会った動物を紹介します。
I will introduce the animals I met when I lived in Australia.
🐨 1. コアラ | Koala
よく会える：⭐⭐⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐⭐⭐
場所：動物園、森 | Place: Zoo, Forest
コアラはいつも寝ています。とても大きくてかわいいです。
Koalas are always sleeping. They are very big and cute.
木の上でじっとしています。動きません。でもとてもかわいいです。
They stay still on trees. They don’t move. But they are very cute.
🦘 2. カンガルー | Kangaroo

場所：公園 | Place: Park
街から少し離れた公園でカンガルーを見ました。とても大きいです！
I saw kangaroos at a park away from the city. They are very big!
写真を撮りたくて近づきました。でもカンガルーは逃げました。とても速いです。
I wanted to take photos and got close. But the kangaroos ran away. They are very fast.
この公園のことは、また書きます。
I will write about this park again.
🦘 3. ワラビー | Wallaby

場所：国立公園 | Place: National Park
ワラビーはカンガルーより小さいです。とても優しいです。
Wallabies are smaller than kangaroos. They are very gentle.
えさをあげました。ワラビーが近くに来ました。かわいかったです！
I gave them food. The wallabies came close to me. They were cute!
🐻 4. ウォンバット | Wombat
よく会える：⭐⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐⭐
場所：動物園 | Place: Zoo
ウォンバットは動物園で見ました。野生にもいるそうです。
I saw wombats at the zoo. I heard they are also in the wild.
とても太くて丸いです。歩き方がかわいいです。
They are very fat and round. Their walking is cute.
🌈 5. レインボーロリキート | Rainbow Lorikeet

場所：どこでも | Place: Everywhere
とてもきれいな鳥です。虹の色です。毎日見ました。
Very beautiful birds. They have rainbow colors. I saw them every day.
朝、空を見ると、この鳥がたくさん飛んでいます。とてもきれいです。
In the morning, when I look at the sky, many of these birds are flying. Very beautiful.
🦜 6. コッカトゥー | Cockatoo

場所：公園、家の近く | Place: Parks, Near houses
白い大きな鳥です。頭に黄色い毛があります。
Big white birds. They have yellow feathers on their heads.
毎朝6時に鳴きます。とても大きい声です。でもきれいです。
They cry every morning at 6 o’clock. Very loud voice. But beautiful.
🌙 7. ポッサム | Possum
よく会える：⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
場所：家の屋根 | Place: House roof
仕事をしている時、屋根の上を走る音が聞こえました。びっくりしました！
While I was working, I heard running sounds on the roof. I was surprised!
ポッサムでした。かわいいけど、ちょっと怖いです。
It was a possum. Cute but a little scary.
🦎 8. リザード | Lizard
よく会える：⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
場所：庭 | Place: Garden
庭にとても大きなトカゲがいました。びっくりしました！
There was a very big lizard in the garden. I was surprised!
虫を食べてくれます。でも近づいてはだめだと言われました。
They eat insects for us. But I was told not to go too close.
🐊 9. ワニ | Crocodile
よく会える：⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐
場所：動物園 | Place: Zoo
動物園でワニを見ました。とても大きいです。水から高くジャンプします。
I saw crocodiles at the zoo. They are very big. They jump high from the water.
川にいると思うと、とても怖いです。
It’s very scary to think they are in rivers.
🦫 10. カモノハシ | Platypus
よく会える：⭐ | Easy to see: ⭐
場所：きれいな川 | Place: Clean river
とても珍しい動物です。卵を産む動物です。でも哺乳類です。
A very rare animal. It lays eggs. But it’s a mammal.
夕方、川で少しだけ見ました。オーストラリアだけにいます。
In the evening, I saw it briefly at the river. They only live in Australia.

- フラッシュを使わない | Don’t use flash
- 遠くから撮る | Take photos from far away
- えさをあげない | Don’t give food
- 静かにする | Be quiet
